I am a very pleased owner of an iTouch (2nd Generation) and I believe this particular thing has upgraded very much in comparison with the 1st generation. And for that reason it will always be far better, but remember that ... In no way get yourself a product from Apple in case it's just one year available to buy, they'll improve it even so they usually change step by step to acheive increase sales and profits using their company goods...
